Our Director’s Circle is a group of donors who make an annual gift of $500 or more to Northern Stage. This family of supporters makes our long-term vitality and ability to positively impact the community possible. Ticket sales and subscriptions cover approximately 45% of what it takes for Northern Stage to maintain its crucial impact on our shared community – culturally, socially, and economically. The price of a ticket covers less than half of your theater experience, and donations of every size are necessary to keep your theater thriving.
Northern Stage has become a fixture of theatrical excellence in the region – our main stage season brings world-class theater right to the heart of the Upper Valley. But donor support does so much more. DC members help provide theater education opportunities that nurture theater lovers of all ages and make need based scholarships available, so our programs are accessible to all. Member contributions make it possible for us to develop plays, ensuring fresh voices are nurtured and new work is brought to the American stage. Member support deepens our connection to our shared community through engagement programs that draw audience members into a meaningful understanding of theater and the stories we tell. Donations help make theater accessible to all through low-cost ticketing programs. In short, DC members are changing lives, one story at a time.
